In 2006, a group of around 20 men and women, armed solely with a resolute commitment to follow God at any cost and fueled by a sincere desire to witness the manifestation of God’s will, fervently initiated a quest for divine guidance and instruction. This dedicated assembly tirelessly engaged in prayer, giving birth to a ministry that, at the time, remained nameless, within the living room of the late Pastor Adama Charis Samuel.
Persisting in prayer, the fellowship sensed a profound conviction that significant developments were destined for the years ahead. Subsequently, a revelation from the Lord declared that the assembly would be named “EXTREME WORSHIP HOUSE,” signifying something beyond the ordinary.
As the fellowship continued seeking the Lord, divine revelations unfolded. A dynamic word was received, crystallizing the vision, accompanied by the slogan, “I love the love that makes me love you,” reinforcing the profound connection with God’s love.
This is to be a church NOT ordinary Not a church to sing a song Pray a prayer Preach a sermon And then go home. It is to be a hospital A place where miracles are common! Breeding without Greed Where love flows And the presence of God is ever-present.
Commencement
On October 9, 2017, the Extreme Worship House officially began its journey into activation. The vision, entrusted to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, sought a shepherd to lead this significant mission.
In response to the call, the Lord faithfully presented Bari Thomas Shunom to steer the ministry in alignment with His divine purpose. Bari’s leadership has been characterized by a spirit of excellence.
Today, the Extreme Worship House (EWH) stands as a flourishing ministry, with fervent prayer serving as its cornerstone. EWH provides multiple services and actively supports the evangelistic endeavors of various ministries.
This thriving community has developed ministries tailored to both the church’s needs and those of the broader community outside its physical walls. Always attuned to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, they embody God’s love and mirror the example of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, by interceding on behalf of the Body.
Furthermore, they diligently utilize every biblical resource to foster the development and maturation of individuals, empowering them to live victorious lives.
