Nigerian Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo is overjoyed as she welcomed her first child with her husband, Pastor Blessed. One year after their marriage, the award-winning singer and her husband announced in April that they were expecting their first child.
Keep in mind that the couple married on August 13, 2022, in Port Harcourt. The gospel singer revealed the news by sharing a music video of herself showing off her baby bump and thanking God for the new arrival of her little child, stating that He has filled their hearts with pleasure and their lips with testimonies.
Although the singer did not reveal the gender of the child, popular speculation suggests that the pair had a son.
She wrote:
“Lord, we are grateful; we approach Your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving.
“You’ve filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed “YOU DO THIS ONE.”
