The comedy film was directed by Biodun Stephen and written by Steph Boyo and Ozioma Ogbaji. It was a remake of the 2002 comedy film Aki na Ukwa, which was produced by Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme.
Osita Iheme launched Inspired Movement Africa with the sole purpose of inspiring, motivating, and stimulating the brains of young Nigerians and Africans in general. Iheme received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the African Movie Academy Awards in 2007.
