K. N. Peter also known as Kalu Ndem Peter and Sirpee, is a Nollywood screenwriter, Script editor, Gaffer, and Historian. He was born on Oct 4, 1994, into the family of Chief and Elder Mrs. Kalu Ndem, both natives of Amuru Abam, in Arochukwu LGA of Abia state. K. N. Peter is the last child out of a family of Nine.
He is so talented, innovative, creative, and passionate about the industry. According to him, nothing gives him joy as seeing his dream come through.
In a short while of being consistent in the industry, he has been able to achieve some height in his field and craft.
Career
K. N. Peter is one of the youngest Screenwriters whose works are showcased on some popular TV stations and entertainment channels such as Ibaka TV, African movies channels, African Magic showcase, and the rest. One of his movies was also screened at an International Film Festival in Nigeria.
Not just limited to the above he also have a movie he co-wrote and edited, screened, and premiered in a Cinema in London.
Aside from the above, he has also worked on a web series of 8 episodes which of the 8 episodes, his name is credited to 7 of the episodes, for a production in Calgary, Canada, owned by a Nigerian-Canada-based Filmmaker.
Upcoming Projects
His work “CHRISTOPHERKING” is coming on Cinema and Netflix in due time, a story written for two locations; London and Nigeria, and to be directed by one of the Award-winning directors, Saheed Apanpa.
He is also known as a historian and a history spotter who has singlehandedly written several phases of history regarding his place of birth, Amuru Abam. He also got some interesting articles to his credit. To him, writing is like chatting.

EDUCATION
K. N. Peter grew up in the Federal capital Territory, where he attended his nursery to Secondary school and graduated from G.S.S Gwargwada, Kuje area council, a boarding school.
According to some of his classmates then, they attested to the fact he had started writing as earlier as in his J.S.S.1 when he do write in an exercise book and they take from him to read.
K. N. Peter is a graduate of Absuu and was so popularly and loved by everyone, including his lecturers for his brilliant personality and ability to interact with everyone.
He served his fatherland (NYSC) in the year, 2018 in Ifon local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria. While in the Orientation camp, he learned Filmmaking and Cinematography under a skill acquisition programme and directed his first music video which gave him recognition in the camp as director.
Before then, he had started direct for a live stage for theatre he belonged to at Home and in the campus. He directed one of the best events (event 6) which hosted many crowd and different theatres in Absuu.
When asked why he doesn’t act again, he said, “He prefers and loves writing, as well as lighting to acting. Although, he had featured in few movies with Sabinus, Uzor Arukwe, Nkechi Blessing, and many others as special appearance.
Some of his secondary school results also proved he had always scored high when it comes to writing a story in English language even as a Science Student.
K. N. Peter has never been to art class nor did anything related to art, he is purely a science student, basically, a microbiologist. All he does now in art are in build and natural talent.
K. N. Peter said he discovered his talent as a writer at young age and wished to follow it up but his parents and many around him were never in support of his ambition because they had wanted him to become a medical doctor but the young man who understands what he wants, was so reluctant and stubborn which was the reason he left east and relocated to Lagos and from there, had the opportunity to meet some industry people on set and when they loved his work, there, his journey to a successful carrier began. Since then, he has been up and doing in nollywood industry.
