Kenny Blaq started after his satire vocation in 2008. Kenny Blaq has featured in numerous shows and gained prominence after he participated at the Calabar Carnival Laffmattaz in 2011.
Before his acclaim, the entertainer had trained as a compere and moderator at FRCN Training School in Lagos State.
In 2009, he was invited to perform at a wedding, where he was paid N800 naira for his performance. Since he had never earned that much money for performing, the money seemed like a lot to him.
After his astounding performance at the Calabar Carnival Laffmattaz in 2011, he got the attention of prominent event organisers and planners. That was the start of his fame and how he started performing at big shot events in Nigeria.
That was how his popularity began to grow rapidly and gradually became a household name and a huge part of most of the comedy events in the country.
