Maame Yaa Asantewaa is the wife of late Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye, a pastor from Ghana, who served as the general overseer at Resurrection Power New Generation Church (RPNGC). Alot of drama has surfaced after his death.
The families of the late pastor were at Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu’s Ankobeahene’s home, according to church officials, to talk about the burial plans. Members of the Resurrection Power Chapel were shown beaming in a video that YEN.com.gh was able to view after church officials declared that the late Bishop Anthony Boakye’s widow and ex-wife would not be participating in the widow’s rite of passage for her spouse.
Maame Yaa Asantewaa, the widow, was not present at the family meeting despite being commanded by the Ankobeahene to be present. The Ankobeahene gave the families and church leaders of the late man of God orders to stop the widow from carrying out her widowhood ceremonies.
The late pastor will be observed for one week beginning on March 30, 2023, according to information provided by church officials. They went on to say that the event’s dress code is red and black, which serves as a warning to the public that these are serious times.
